David D. Roberts, 86, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025.
David dedicated his life to serving his community and his country. He proudly served in the Army Reserves and went on to a distinguished 38-year career with the Houston Police Department, where he was known for his integrity, dedication, and kindness.

David was a man of deep faith and had been a faithful member of Spring Baptist Church since 1979. He found great joy in tending his vegetable garden, a hobby that reflected his patient and nurturing spirit.

He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on February 4, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Spring Baptist Church, 633 E Louetta, Spring, TX 77373. Burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

Surviving relatives are his brother Leroy Roberts, wife Sallie and their sons Jonathon, Jason and Mason and their families and nephew John Cooper and wife Victoria.

Preceding David in death was his wife Reba Patricia Roberts (Pat) in 2017.

David's legacy of service, faith, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
