Obituary

David Briner, from Spring, Texas, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2021, with his children by his side. David was born to Byron and Dorothy Briner and after graduating high school, enlisted in the US Navy to serve his country. He later went on to study drafting and had a successful career with Brown and Root/Halliburton. David was a man of few words, and a thousand hobbies. He rode motorcycles, tracked the stars and tinkered with everything. He beat cancer, more than once, and overcame many other health issues over the course of his life. We have peace knowing he is no longer in pain and has been reunited with his wife in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Kathy Gozdziewicz, his nephew, Phillip Briner, and his wife Cindy Briner. David is survived by his brothers, Andy and his wife Mona, Skip and his wife Dawn, his children, Shawnalee and her husband Justin, Adam, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jonathan and his wife Samantha, his grandchildren, Sebastian, Kylee, Naomi and Norah, his great grandson Michelangelo, and his mother in law, Victoria, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved cat Jack. A memorial will be held on Sunday, November 21st, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home in Spring, Texas. A graveside service will be held for the family at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery where David will be laid to rest with full military honors along side his late wife.
