David Beavers, a talented Chief Engineer and beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on March 28, 2023 at the age of 73. David was born on February 23, 1950, in Bakersfield , CA, to Cecil Ray Beavers and Louella Betsy Gillis Beavers , and grew up to become a shining example of resilience, strength, and kindness.

David's life was defined by his unwavering work ethic and phenomenal sense of humor. He Spent 4 years in the Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving during the Vietnam war. He continued his educational path with Pellerin-Milnor and became a chief engineer after finishing their vocational program. He spent the last 15+ years employed with the Texas Medical Center and could be found tinkering on machines or running to save the day at any given time. In his off time, he could be found enjoying an Astro's game or regaling people with his stories and jokes. Dave was someone who never met a stranger and who always put others first, and his kindness and compassion were felt by everyone he met.

‍David was also a devoted husband for 50 years to his wife Brandy Beavers and an amazing father to his three children, Veronica, Benjamin, and Dianna, and a beloved grandfather to Dominic and Alexzander Beavers. He was well regarded in his personal and professional circles, and he will be missed by countless others whom knew him from various times in his life. David's kindness, warmth, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Ray Beavers and Louella Betsy Gillis Beavers , and his brothers Larry Edward Beavers & Ira Ray Beavers and was survived by his wife Brandy Beavers, his children Veronica (Oscar Valdez) , Benjamin (Mirna) and Dianna as well as his sister Linda Lou Beauchamp and grandsons Dominic and Alexzander Beavers.

His legacy is one of love, compassion, and always finding a reason to smile . He touched the lives of countless people during his lifetime, and his impact will continue to be felt for years to come. David's family and friends take comfort in knowing that h is memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the example of courage and kindness he set for us all. He will be remembered lovingly by many as the Minion and keep us smiling for years to come.
