Dave passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Dave and his beloved wife, Teresa, shared a remarkable journey—45 years together, 39 of those as husband and wife. High school sweethearts, their love stood the test of time and served as the foundation of a beautiful family.

He was the proud father of Anthony and Kristina, and a devoted brother to Sandy and Ted their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave's children were truly his pride and joy. He never missed a single baseball game, always in the stands cheering on Anthony. He traveled far and wide to support Kristina in her Special Olympic competitions. His love for them knew no boundaries, and even if he didn't always say it, he was immensely proud—especially of the man, husband, and Father Anthony had become. He always kept Kristina close in his heart, always concerned about her happiness and well-being.

One of the greatest joys of his life came when he became "Papa." Watching his grandson play in his very first soccer game brought him immeasurable pride and happiness.

Dave lived life fully, with hobbies that reflected his bold spirit—hunting, golfing, smoking, cooking for those he loved, Rodeo Houston and his grape Kool-Aid. He often dreamed about owning land in Arkansas, and he made that dream come true.

A natural salesman with a sharp wit, Dave could "sell ice to the devil" as the saying went. Yet, he was known just as much for his honesty as his hustle. He believed deeply in being truthful with his customers and built a career—and reputation—on integrity and fairness. He took pride in teaching those around him valuable lessons, especially when it came to money and the importance of hard work.

To sum Dave up best: he may have been rough around the edges, but he had a heart of gold. His life was one of strength, loyalty, and love. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in every story, every lesson, and every cherished memory.
