Danny H. Green

Born in Houston August 18, 1949, and died in Houston June 9, 2026, at 76 years of age. Lifelong resident of Houston. US Air Force veteran. Retired from AT&T after 46 years of service. He was a long-time coach in various youth sports with his children. Longtime member of the Katy Elks Lodge and lifelong member of the Methodist Church. Predeceased by parents Ted and Irene Green and grandson Simcha Green. Survived by wife of 39 years, Sarah Green. Five children: Sheldon Green and wife Susan, Wade Green, Lindsay Kostner and husband Richard, Danielle Johnson, and husband Jacob and Joseph Green, Survived by grandchildren: Cherie Sanches and husband Thiago, Owen Green, Eli Green, Roman Green, Madeline Johnson and Grace Kostner. Also survived by sister Vicki J. Keiser and husband Jim and brothers Larry Arnhold and wife Cheryl and Ted Green and wife Marsha and numerous nephews and nieces. Special thanks from the family to Creighton Wells for the special care that he provided Danny. A viewing will be at held from 9:00-10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Klein Funeral Home located at 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065 with the service to follow at 10:00. Interment will be at the VA Cemetery at 2:15.
