Obituary

Danney Monroe Stanley was born in Gladewater, Texas on December 22, 1944, and peacefully passed away in Houston, Texas on May 12, 2022.

Danney accepted Jesus as his personal savior at an early age of 6 years old at a Billy Graham Crusade in the old Houston Coliseum. Danney graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and received and Associates Degree in Technology from the University of Houston.  He spent 35 years as a highly successful salesman of wire and electronic components. Then the next chapter of his life began when God called him into full time ministry on July 23, 2000. He publicly dedicated himself to serve the Lord as a minister the 23 rd of January, 2001. After his dedication to God's service Danney devoted himself to studying and equipping himself to obey his Lord.

Danney was involved with Victim Relief as a Chaplain and served as an Associate Pastor-Pastoral Care and Counseling at North Oaks Baptist Church.  He touched the lives of many as he was helping them through difficult times in their lives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, N.L. Stanley and Agnes Stanley.

Danney is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Kay Stanley; his children, Stacey Griffith and husband Roy, Danney Stanley, Jr. and wife Amy, D'Wayne Simpson, Tanya McDonald and husband Chance, Kim Aleman and husband Felix; and grandchildren, Lauren Griffith, Hannah Stanley, Jackson Stanley, Kylie Simpson, Julian Aleman, Brayden McDonald, and Kayson McDonald.

Visitation will be held at 9am with a funeral service for Danney to begin at 10am on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.  He will be laid to rest at 2pm on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
