Daniel "Danny" John Gay, of Spring, Texas, passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 70.

Danny was born in Bronx, New York, on September 6, 1955. He graduated from Syosset High School and went on to receive a degree in Engineering from Penn State University.

Danny dedicated his career to engineering, working for GEICO Insurance, VSL Engineering, and Gay & Loudermilk Engineering. He was also a proud business owner.

He was passionate about trains, model railroading, and fishing, hobbies that brought him great enjoyment throughout his life.

Danny is survived by his brother Lance W. Gay and nephew, Walter Michael Gay.

A visitation for Danny will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 12, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
