Obituary

Daniel C Hahn passed away peacefully in Tomball TX on May 18, 2017 with family members present.

Born in St Louis Missouri on March 6, 1929, he was the son of Charles and Dollie Hahn.

After Graduation from Southern Methodist University, Dan enlisted in the US Army during the Korean War. Dan Married the love of his life, Marsha, on December 17, 1951. After Marsha passed away in 2005, Dan would visit her grave every Sunday with his beloved golden retriever, Benson. Dan loved his family and was a great father and grandfather.

Dan enjoyed the game of Baseball and coached several little league teams. He was a big Boston Red Sox fan and watched them beat St Louis in 13 innings the night before he passed. His other favorite sport was Ice Hockey And his two favorite players were Gordie Howe and Bobby Orr.

After retiring from a career as an OTC trader, Dan went to work in the pro shop in the Aerodrome Ice skating rink in Houston. He loved the years he worked there and always looked forward his job. He made many friends there and talked about them all the time.

A favorite pastime for Dan and Marsha was travelling to Drum Corps competitions all over the USA.

Dan is survived by his brother Richard Hahn; Sons Dan Jr, Michael, Timothy, and Joel; Daughters Lisa and Amanda; many grand and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the USO or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
