Daniel Rafael Figueroa, age 60, of Tomball, Texas, died of natural causes on August 11, 2024.

Daniel was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, on January 28, 1964, to father Daniel Figueroa and mother Obdulia Torres. Daniel moved to New York City, New York, in 1965.  He lived in Manhattan where he attended elementary school.  During his teen years the family moved to Brooklyn and he attended John Dewey JHS and Fort Hamilton HS.  He graduated culinary school in New York City and began a career as a sought-after chef. Danny loved to cook for his family and friends and it was always a feast for all.  His speciality was seafood, but many remember his chicken lollipops, chicken enchiladas, country breakfast, shrimp with lobster sauce and his mouth watering ribs.

Daniel R. Figueroa is survived by his parents: father Daniel Figuoera and wife Haydee Figueroa and mother, Obdulia Torres.  Sisters: Betsy Figueroa, Catherine Figueroa, Sandra Otoya, Sue-Haydee Figueroa and Stephanie Figueroa. Children: Daniel Figueroa and wife, Genesis Figueroa, Ariana Figueroa-Taheran and husband, Ismael Taheran, Alex Figueroa, Victoria Figueroa, Mark Aguilera, Juan Carlos Figueroa, Katie Figueroa, Sebastian Figueroa, Angel Figueroa and Raymond Figueroa. Grandchildren: John Eddy-Figueroa, Ismael Taheran, Amir Taheran, Bella Taheran Gian-Carlos Figueroa and Brian Bernal.

Reception will be held immediately following the graveside service at the Otoya residence located at 23223 Triple Spur Lane, Spring, TX, 77373.
