On Wednesday May 25 th , 2022, at the age of 77, Daniel Joseph Berthelot was called home by our Heavenly Father. Daniel passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Patricia and his son Chris by his side.
Daniel was born in New Orleans, LA on May 2 nd , 1945. He graduated from Plaquemine High School in 1963 and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he completed training in San Diego, CA. After Daniel completed his training, he was stationed in Key West, Florida. It was during Leave on August 3 rd , 1963 that he married his high school sweetheart Patricia Ann Fitzpatrick.
Daniel worked for the United States Postal Service in Tomball, Tx. Retiring after 20 years of service. He later went on to work for Lone Star College as a Public Safety Officer for four years. He always spoke of the love he had for his job and his coworkers at Lone Star College.
Daniel was blessed with 59 years of marriage to his one and only love of his life, wife Patricia. He continued to be blessed further with two sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great grandchildren.
Daniel loved to travel with his wife Patricia, they especially enjoyed visiting casinos and taking cruises every now and again. He loved and excelled at Billiards and had many students of the game over the years. He also loved a good Lemon Meringue Pie. Daniel was also a member of the Free Will Baptist Church under Brother Bobby Ferguson and Brother Chuck Lysaker.
Daniel is preceded by his parents Joseph Anthony Berthelot and Erline Rome Berthelot, Sister Nancy Berthelot, and his son Daniel Ryan Berthelot.
Daniel is Survived by his loving wife Patricia Berthelot of the Home; Son Chris Berthelot and Daughter in-law Kathy of Tomball Tx., Grandsons Adam and Zachary Berthelot of Tomball Tx., Granddaughter Trayci Manning and Husband Shannon of New Braunfels Tx; Great Grand Children Matthew and Magnolia Manning of New Braunfels Tx.
Funeral services honoring the Life of Daniel Berthelot will be held Saturday June 4, 2022 at 2 PM, at Klein Funeral Home located at 1400 W. Main St. Tomball, Texas 77375. Visiting will be held from 1 PM to 2 pm. After the service an escort will lead to Klein Cemetery located at 9714 FM 2920, Tomball Texas, 77375. In lieu of flowers, Daniel's favorite charity was St. Jude's Hospital.
