Dana Marie Payton, 63, of Bellville, Texas, passed away August 5th, 2023. Dana was born August 24th, 1959, in Houston, Texas to the late Darrell A. Griffith and Betty M. (Johnston) Griffith.

Dana is survived by her siblings, sisters Marjorie / Michael LeCompte, of Cypress, TX. Sandra Griffith, Hempstead, TX. Brenda Griffith Whitten / William of Manor, TX. Brothers, Darrell W. Griffith, and Theresa Hall, Mark A. Griffith; and Life Partner Kathy Beacraft Griffith of Carmine, TX. Person Friend and Partner, Don Godwin of Bellville, TX.

Dana was also Blessed with numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Dana was a lifelong advocate for saving dogs lives, and worked at several animal shelters and kennels in NW Harris County, and personally adopted many rescue pets.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, August 10th , 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home 1400 W. Main St., Tomball, TX 77375. Visitation for Dana will start at 9:00am Friday August 11th, 2023 with Funeral Services to begin Friday, August 11th, 2023 at 10 AM at Klein Funeral Home with Bro. Michael LeCompte officiating. Interment to follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are: Darrell Wesley Griffith, Derrick Hare, Michael Jason LeCompte, Robert McCaffety, Donald Wojhan, Kiefer Wojhan.
