Dana Darlene Johnson Baker, of Tomball, Texas, was born on January 3, 1948, and passed away on August 11, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Baker; her son, Josh Baker; and her parents, Dana and Audria Faye Johnson.

Darlene is survived by her children, Brittany Baker Curtis and husband Daniel, and Cory Baker; grandson, Liam Curtis; sister, Gayle Johnson Jones; niece, Jolie Lindsay and husband David; and nephew, Dana Devin Jones, and niece Gayla Baldwin Muse.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.

She will be remembered not only for the love she gave her family, but for the beautiful spirit and personality that made her so uniquely herself. She was a sweet and gentle soul, known for her beauty, her warm heart, and her unmistakable sense of style. She was the kind of woman who could light up a room simply by walking into it. She was famously—and unapologetically—fashionably late to just about everything. Her hair appointments, however, were a different story. She took those appointments very seriously and rarely missed an opportunity to keep her signature blonde hair looking just right. Her beauty was something people noticed, but those who knew her best will remember that her kindness and gentle nature were even more beautiful. Above all else, she loved her three children deeply and cherished the time she spent with her family. She found joy in the simple things: watching horse races, enjoying a good Mexican meal, and taking spontaneous late-night shopping trips, and loving on her cats and dogs. She had a special place in her heart for animals. She had a way of making ordinary moments memorable and will be missed more than words can express. Her beauty, gentle spirit, and love for her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
