Dale C. Warren was born on May 25, 1941, in Washington County, Virginia, to Winnie Faye Hearl. As a young man he served his country with honor while based in Cleveland, Ohio. There he met and married his soulmate, Kathryn Sue Walker, in 1962. They went on to have two beautiful children together. His perseverance and strong work ethic paved the way to a long successful career in sales with Norfolk Southern Railway.

Dale enjoyed fitness activities such as weight lifting and running. He also loved to water ski in his 20's and 30's. In later years his hobbies included history, restoring classic Datsun Z cars, watching NASCAR and traveling the country with his family and friends.

Dale was a devoted and loving family man who always took time to listen, share advice and provide knowledge of his life lessons for the betterment of the ones he loved. He was a protector. He will be remembered for his drive to succeed, buoyant personality, witty sense of humor and a laugh that could fill a room.

Dale passed away on May 3, 2023, in Houston, Texas at 81 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sue Warren; sister: Loretta Slemp (Hugh); children: Lisa Racca (Jerry), David Warren; his grandchildren: Nichole Kenley, David Warren Jr., Zachary Crossland; his great-grandchildren: Leah and Sandra Crossland, Jade Kenley, Hayven and Reese Warren and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceeded in death by his mother, Winnie Faye Hearl, and his sister, Joyce Reynolds.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
