Dale Allen McCarty age 75, passed away on April 18, 2019.

Born on December 21, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, Dale was the oldest of eleven siblings to parents Dale and Dolores.   His childhood years were spent in Lakewood, California and he graduated from Lakewood High School.  Dale served in the United States Air Force between 1964-1968.

Prior to his Air Force service, Dale attended Long Beach State where he met his future wife Carla.  Dale and Carla reconnected after he was discharged from the Air Force and they married on October 17, 1970.  In 1977, Dale received his business degree from Cal State Fullerton and relocated the family from Long Beach, California to Spring, Texas.

By trade, Dale was an accountant and worked 37 years in the oil and gas industry, retiring in 2013.  He spent a majority of his career with the Baker Hughes group of companies which afforded him the opportunity to travel around the world.

An avid fisherman, Dale spent many weekends bass fishing with his son or friends.  He had a passion for helping others and volunteered his time with the Lions Club, TEAM and Junior Achievement.  Dale's unwavering love of his family, his dogs and his friends were his most admirable trait, and one that will be remembered by all.

He is survived by his wife Carla, son Matthew, daughter in-law Louise and granddaughters Abigail and Charlotte.

Family, friends and others whose lives were impacted by Dale are invited to Klein Funeral Home – Tomball on Monday, April 29, 2019 to reminisce and celebrate his life.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests the consideration of a donation to Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) or Tomball Lions Club.
