Richard "Dale" Gantt, Sr. was born in Venice, Illinois on January 5, 1934, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on July 31, 2019.  He had recently retired after over 30 years of hard work with Kroger.  He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren so much.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myra Gantt.

Dale is survived by the mother of his children, Margaret Gantt; his children, Richard Gantt, Jr. and wife Cindy, Rita Gantt, and Beth Jordan and husband Mike; grandchildren, Amy Gilkey and husband Ronnie, Jared Gantt and wife Clarissa, Derrick Lee and wife Bonnie, and Clint Lee and wife Christin; great-grandchildren, Wyatt James Lee, Jackson Allen Lee, Rayna Lee, and one on the way- Cheyenne Lee; siblings, Wanda Short, Charlotte McKinney, and Larry Gantt; numerous other relatives; and many friends.

Dale's family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 5-8pm at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77355.  A funeral service for Dale will be held at 10am on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Klein funeral Home Magnolia, followed by burial in Klein Memorial park on SH 249 in Pinehurst, Texas.
