Cynthia Colletti Vetrano passed away December 22, 2016, of breast cancer. She was a native Houstonian born May 23, 1950. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmanuel Joseph; and her parents, Mable Arthur Colletti and Peter G. Colletti.
She is survived by her loving son, EJ Vetrano, Jr.; her two beloved granddaughters, Audrey and Emma; her sisters, Jeanie Trippie (Gary), Elizabeth Salvaggio (Charlie), Tina Castille (Stephen), Virginia Quartaro (Tony), and Julie Colletti; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and devoted friends.
Cynthia was a founder of the first St. Joseph Altar at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church. She was passionate about and proud of this ministry and worked tirelessly to make it a success each and every year. We would like to thank Cynthia's church family at St. Ignatius and the staff at Methodist Hospital in Houston for all that you have done.
The Rosary will be recited by La Amiche Italian Women's Club at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, at 4 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Visitation will follow until 7 p.m. A celebration of life reception will be held immediately following in the church hall at St Ignatius, 7800 Cypresswood Dr. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at St. Ignatius followed by a graveside service at Forest Park Westheimer.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Cynthia's memory to St. Joseph Altar Guild at St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church.
