Larry Wayne & Cynthia Mary Schulin

Larry (65) and Cynthia (58) passed away in their home on January 07, 2022. They shared the same birth day in the city of Houston, Texas, on September 21st 1956 and 1963. They are survived by their sons; Tyler and Cody, grandsons; Bentley and Tatum, parents; Warren Schulin, Lola Schulin, and Mildred Sodolak, brothers and sisters; Craig and Debbie Sodolak, Donald and Doris Schulin, Debra and Larry Buttram and numerous cousins and family members.

Cynthia graduated Class of 1982 from Northbrook High School where her teachers still recognize her name by her sweet and witty charm and numerous mentions on the Academics Honor Roll. She was a competitive softball player in her youth which instilled a passion and love for sports in her sons and grandsons that will carry a lasting impression. This passion shined through in many aspects of her life. As a baseball mom and Nana, her work in assisting many major technology companies, and her relationships with her family and friends. The Lord says "Honor thy Father and Mother", and she did this through her devoted caregiving to both of them as well as her family and friends. She enjoyed a good movie night at the local theatre with her grandson, or Dancing with the Stars next to her husband on the couch.

Larry, a graduate of the Class of 1975 from John H. Reagan High School is remembered to be a bit of a free-spirited nature-loving man who said health was found outdoors. His sense of adventure growing up was often found racing his dirt bikes through the National Forest, cruising on his Harley, or camping with his family. After 30+ years of Service as a Fire Fighter to the City of Houston he retired as a Senior Captain. He was a hard-working father and poppa who always encouraged, coached, and supported his sons and grandson in every sport they played and the first on the field to be the best team doctor. He liked the "good ole days" and always wished his favorite team, The Oilers would make a strong comeback and an obvious Superbowl run.

Born on the same day, it was only fitting that they were married on their birthday, September 21, 1991. They committed their life together and raised a family that continues to hold onto the strong values they possessed. They were often seen in the front row at Local Live Artist shows, traveling to the latest concert of their favorite band, cheering on their sons, Tyler and Cody, and grandson Bentley at any game or event. Forever in our memories and hearts we honor your lives as a father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, Poppa & Nana, and great friends.
