Curtis 'Tony' Gum made his journey home on February 27, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas in 1938, where he grew into a fine young man. In 1959 he joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country as an electronics technician until 1965. It was also in 1965 that Petty Officer Second Class Tony Gum, married his wife of 56 years, Joyce. Together they raised a family and enjoyed their travels together. Tony enjoyed classical music, country western music, fishing and woodworking. In addition to his wife Joyce, he is survived by his children Claudia and Robert, grandchildren Keith, Jennifer and Amanda, as well 4 great-grandchildren. He leaves behind many others that he touched throughout his life, as he was a generous and selfless mentor.
