Craig Joseph Orr, 47, was called peacefully to Heaven on Wednesday February 22, 2017. He was truly one of a kind. A Godly man, loving husband, doting father, and the best son, brother and friend anyone could have. A true family man. Always there with his winning smile and great personality, Craig had a zest for life and was a friend to everyone.
Born in Midland, Texas and raised in Houston, he graduated from Aldine Nimitz High School in 1987, where he was a great athlete, excelled at football and was voted Most Popular his senior year.
Craig was an excellent cook, enjoyed the restaurant industry and spent his entire career there. He was also a music lover, supporter of all Houston sports teams and Texas A&M.
Craig is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Anderson and great aunt, Geneva Bounds. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Orr; son, Liam and daughter, Luciana; grandmother, Mary Nan Anderson; mother and father, Genevieve and Bobby Orr; brother and sister in law, Heeth and Stacy Orr; sister, Chrysti Orr; father and mother in law, Mark and Janie Blackwood; father in law, Sabas Cruz, Jr.; brothers in law and sisters in law, Brandon and Amanda Griffith and Adam and Raquel Cruz; nieces, Mackenzie Hardy, Ronni Orr and Jovi Cruz; and nephews, Aidan Hardy, Gibson Orr and Easton Cruz. His legacy lives on through his family and friends and his family is grateful beyond measure for the priceless gift of having had him in our lives.
