Craig Allan Beam was born in Columbus, Indiana on February 4, 1944. He peacefully entered heaven on August 19, 2019 where he is healed and rejoicing with Jesus his Savior.
Craig developed a strong work ethic, his athletic ability and his love for the outdoors growing up on a family farm near Columbus. He graduated from Purdue University as an engineer where he met his wife, Jan. His successful business career moved the family to Texas where he became a small business owner dealing in the oil and gas industry.
He delighted in his Lord, his wife, his family, the church and helping others. He enjoyed a project and could fix almost anything! Craig sacrificed himself and worked tirelessly to ensure that his family and others were blessed.
Craig was preceded in death by his loving parents and sister. He is survived by Jan, his devoted wife of 52 years, his brother Daryl and wife, three wonderful children - Eric, Kevin, and Corrie and their spouses. As PPa he was adored by 11 grandchildren. He cherished being part of their lives, watching them grow up, and celebrating their accomplishments.
Even as his health declined, Craig never lost his sweet spirit, loving nature, and delightful smile. The Jesus inside of Craig was obvious to all who met him.
