Obituary

Cody Alan Goldsmith passed away on January 20, 2017 at the young age of twenty. He was born in St. Louis, MO on January 17, 1997 and lived as a young boy in St. Charles, MO until 2002. Cody and his family moved to the Tomball/CyFair area at this time where he still resided until his death. Cody was a terrific student from a young age, rarely making grades other than A's. He grew into a fine young man and had many academic accomplishments, which included being a member of the National Honor Society and winning /placing in numerous UIL competitions. Cody was a lover of history and current events. His hobbies were reading books, playing with his dogs, enjoying the company of his friends, traveling, and playing video games. Cody is survived by his brother Charles "C.A." Goldsmith, his mother Cathy E. Goldsmith, and his father Gary C. Goldsmith. He is also survived by his grandmother Jean C. Goldsmith, and his grandfather Floyd D. Harris of St. Charles, MO. He is further survived by his aunts, Carolyn Gibbs and Ginger English(St. Charles, MO) and his uncles, Keith Gibbs and Kent English(St. Charles, Mo), Danny N. Harris(St. Charles, MO) and his cousins Ashleigh and Keifer Gibbs and Courtney English(St. Charles, MO). Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather C.A. Goldsmith and his grandmother Carol M. Harris. Cody was a loving brother, son, grandson, nephew and cousin. He also had a close inner circle of friends he enjoyed immensely and brought considerable joy to him. His life ended far too soon and he will be missed in untold measures. Services will be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball 1400 W. Main St. Tomball, TX 77375. There will be a visitation on Thursday evening January 26, 2017 from 6-8pm. The funeral service will take place Friday morning January 27, 2017 at 10am. Lunch will be provided after the service for those wishing to attend at 16121 N Eldridge Pkwy Suite 6 Tomball TX 77377.
