Clyde Allen Theiss went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the age of 76. He passed away at his home in Leakey, Texas, with his wife, Charlcye, by his side. They were married for 56 years.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Charlcye; his daughters, Janis Page and her husband Gary, Susannah Hilton and her husband Kerry, and Elizabeth Theiss; his grandchildren, Jacob Theiss Hilton and his wife Jackie, James Thomas Hilton, Skye Susannah Hilton, Amy Michelle Page, Margaret Grace Page Laplant and her husband Ryan, and Nathan Wagner; his sister Beverly Enyart and her husband Larry; his brothers Timothy Theiss and his wife Debbie, William Theiss and his wife Katja, Thomas Theiss and his wife Gina, and Steven Theiss; and his many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Clyde was preceded in death by his father, Allen Theiss, and his mother, Imogene Walters.

Clyde was born in Houston, Texas, on May 5, 1941. He grew up in Houston, then moved to the Klein community in 1966 to raise his family. After retiring in 2006, he moved to Leakey, Texas. Clyde and Charlcye built a beautiful home together and made many lasting friendships in the Leakey and Uvalde area. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and taking care of his family. Clyde's passion was sharing his faith in Christ with others. He fought the good fight, leaving a legacy of faith that will carry on for generations to come. It's been said that he had been preparing for eternity for most of his life.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Theiss, William Theiss, Thomas Theiss, Steven Theiss, Jacob Hilton, James Hilton, and Lance Enyart.
