Clifton was born January 15, 1959 in Lamesa, Texas to parents Emma Cooks of Hearne, Tx and Joe Cliff Osbourne of Lamesa, Tx.   He spent most of his adolescence in Texas and as a young man he settled in Hobbs, NM. This is where he met his wife, Yolanda Banks. They moved to Houston in 1990, got married and later welcomed their baby girl into their blended family.

Clifton "Pete" was a hard-working man who worked for FCI for 13 years. He would give you the shirt off his back. Over the years he befriended many young and old. He was a sports enthusiast, especially if it was the Texans or Rockets! He enjoyed shooting pool, playing dominoes and watching Old Western movies on T.V. Fishing was also one of his favorite past times, just being on the boat and the solitude of nature. He took pride in his ability to grill on the pit!

On Saturday, February 25, 2023 he departed from this life to walk the streets paved in gold, above. He will be missed by his family and friends; Chino, Joel and Jose has also shared in our loss.

He leaves to mourn his memory: His wife Yolanda Hall of Houston, Tx; daughter Clifton'aa Hall of Houston, Tx; son Andre Hall of Dallas, TX; daughter D'Hysovonne Hall of Ft. Worth, Tx; daughter Brittney Hall of Midland, Tx; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother Billy Paul Cooks of Midland, Tx; aunts Patricia Hall and Diane Govan of Midland, Tx; honorary cousin Brenda Hall of Midland, Tx; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma Cooks and Joe C. Osbourne; his son, Clifton Hall; grandmother Minnie Hall.
