Obituary

Cleo Manning White of Spring, Texas passed from this life into eternal life with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2025.

Cleo Valdine Manning was born 1/26/1937 to Florence and Robert Manning in Rosston, Arkansas. When she was a toddler, the family moved to Texas where she remained for the rest of her life. Cleo graduated from Jefferson Davis High school in June 1954. She met the love of her life, Glen White at Shadydale Baptist church in Houston, Texas. They married on September 3, 1955
She was a longtime member of Metropolitan Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and choir member and then she became a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters Valarie (Tom) Rabette of Monroe, North Carolina, Beverly (Charles) Jones of Spring, Texas, Shirley (Barry) Brown of Lutz, Florida; grandchildren Kevin Childers of Elkin, North Carolina, Ashley Childers of Huntersville, North Carolina, David (Ashley) Brown of London, UK, Nolan (Samantha) Brown of Palm Harbour, Florida, Kristin (Will) Griffin of Chester, Virginia; great grandchildren Camden Brown of Wheaton, Illinois, Anderson Brown of London, Uk, Evelyn Brown of London, UK, William (Bubba) Griffin of Chester, Virginia, and Wyatt Griffin of Chester, Virginia plus nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by Glen White, her loving husband of 44 years, grandson Justin Dieckman, parents Robert and Florence Manning, brothers and sisters Hubert Manning, Garland Manning, Vivian Rompf, Audra Pegram, Edith Marr and Kenneth Manning.

Cleo died in her home at 88 years of age. She will be fondly remembered for her love, laughter and encouragement.
