Claude William Stahl, III (Buster/Redd) age 61 passed away June 1 ^st 2021 in Houston Texas from complications from colon cancer. He was born and raised in Houston, grew up in Spring Branch and settled in Magnolia Texas. He attended Northbrook High School and Sam Houston State University and belonged to Delta Tau Delta fraternity. At the time of his death he was employed with Olmsted Kirk as their Business Development Manager. He spent almost 37 years in the paper distribution business serving the Houston, Dallas, Bryan/College Station, San Antonio, Austin, Longview and Shreveport markets during his career. His passion for the business was second to none and the friends he made in the industry were many. The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Olmsted Kirk and Lindenmeyr Munroe/CNG for their unwavering compassion and love they showed Redd and his family throughout his ordeal. Also, thank you to our extended family, friends, co-workers and neighbors for their kind words and prayers while he fought cancer. A big thank you to the team at M.D. Anderson The Woodland for all of the kindness and medical expertise. Redd's passions were politics, writing and business along with his annual food drives for dog rescues and for the TLC Food Pantry in Willis Texas and of course, his Houston Astros. These were a few among many interests. His zest for life and sense of humor will be missed.

Mr. Stahl is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Chrisanne Stahl. His sons Beau Stahl, Jordan Young, Christopher Young, and his daughter Amanda Stallings and husband Josh and his daughter Leah Young His pride and joy grandson John Stallings & brother Greg Stahl.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details will be posted soon.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to M.D. Anderson, The TLC Food Pantry, The Forgotten Dogs of the Fifth Ward and Paw Huggers Rescue.
