Obituary

Clark Dale Eckerman was born in Brenham, Texas on December 21, 1950. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and grandfather that loved his family dearly. All of us will miss him terribly, but have comfort in our hearts because he touched our lives with his love, kindness, humor, and generosity.

He can be remembered best as a lifelong classic truck and car enthusiast. A passion that has been a part of his life since the age of fourteen.   A collection of Classic Chevy and Hot Rod magazines occupies a significant space in his garage along with an assortment of memorabilia, signs, tools, nuts, bolts, and of course his beloved classics , a black 1957 Chevy and a 1969 Chevy step-side truck.

A skilled Journeyman Electrician of 43 years. He worked hard over the years to provide for his family. Always taking pride in his work. He used the utmost care to assure the quality for any job he completed. He recently retired on June 1, 2016. We were looking forward to that next journey in our lives.

A loyal friend to many. He was someone you could call or count on. Clark was quick to share his knowledge and skills. Always taking time to just talk or share a funny story.

A husband of almost 20 years. He was the love of my life and best friend. I will miss the strong arms that held me, and the constant love he assured me of every day.
