Clarence Henry Stanton born to Clyde Henry Stanton Jr. and Patricia Knott in Chicago Illinois. Raised by his Grandmother Nan and Aunt Vi he grew up in the inner city, he received life lessons and guidance by family and found passion in basketball. His grandmother took pride in his education and made sure that he had opportunities as he grew up into a scholarly young man. After graduating high school, he ventured on to continuing his education at Dillard University located in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is where he made his home for the next 4 years and found fellowship, brotherhood, and community when he pledged Omega Psi Phi and joined the Coast Guard. After graduating college with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined the world of finance. Upon making new connections he then decided to settle in Los Angeles California and begin a new found career in the car dealer industry. This is where he met his wife, Charlotte Stanton, and they began a 30 year marriage and gave birth to daughter, Allegera Stanton. He moved his family to Kansas City, Missouri where he became one of the first African Americans to own, manage, and run a Ford dealership in the region and became Ford Man Of The Year. Graduating from the Dale Carnegie program he broke barriers and raised opportunity ceilings for the generations to come. He decided to retire early and settle in Atlanta, Georgia but sitting was not his forte so he ventured back into business and got a license for becoming a certified nursing assistant. Combining his passion for finance and medical he opened a healthcare business helping those in the neighborhoods of Oakland, California. He then moved to Houston, Texas where he started a financial consultancy looking to help the next generation build wealth on their own terms. With all of his accolades and accomplishments Clarence Henry Stanton passed away at the age of 63, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte Yvonne Stanton, daughter, Allegera Danielle-Cansler Stanton, brother and sister-in-law, Clyde Henry Stanton III and Fatima Stanton, nephew, Joshua Stanton, Aunt Darlene Smith, Cousins - Lisa Barnes, Tammy Smith, and Virgil Sanford, along with friend - Delinda Marzette and Omega Psi Phi Line Brothers.
