Obituary

Clara Elizabeth (Januszewski) Wesneski, 97, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2024. Clara was born June 17, 1926 in Brenham, Texas to Frank and Mary Januszewski. She was married to Bennie Joe Wesneski on January 19, 1949 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas. They moved to the Spring Branch area of Houston to start their family and build their home. She and Bennie were blessed with three children and split their time between their home in Spring Branch and the family farm in Brenham.

Clara was a loving wife and mother and a devout catholic. She was a founding member of St. Jerome Catholic Church where she performed weekly Alter Society service. She was employed for many years by Cornelius Nursery where she was a very sought after floral designer. She made lifelong friends in and around the Spring Branch and Memorial areas of Houston and enjoyed spending time at the Community Center playing Canasta. She and Bennie both came from large Polish families and loved dancing and spending time at family get togethers, weddings and reunions. In the last few years Clara resided at Copperfield Estates, playing bingo, socializing and spending time with her dear sister, Natalie.

Clara is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bennie , her parents, brothers Albin and Stanley Januszewski, sisters, Julia Antkowiak, Angela (Ella) Twardowski, & Regina Metzler

She is survived by her sister, Natalie Wesneski, children Cathy and husband Stanley Bordovsky, Cindy and husband Darrell Kubeczka, Thomas and wife Dawn Wesneski. Grandchildren, Michael and Christal Bordovsky, Stacey Bordovsky and Gary McLendon, Lisa and Robby Weatherly, Paul and Sara Kubeczka, Kevin Kubeczka, Chris Kubeczka, Darryl and Jennifer Wesneski, Katie and William Whitworth. Great- Grandchildren Travis Bordovsky, Eden Wesneski, Case Wesneski, Ryleigh Weatherly, Lane Weatherly, Eli Whitworth and Jocelyn Whitworth, sisters-in law Angeline Zientek Januszewski, Angeline Wisnowski. Januszewski, Annie Wesneski, and Dorothy Wesneski and too many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members to mention.

At her request, Pall Bearers will be her grandchildren: Michael, Stacey, Lisa, Paul, Kevin, Chris, Darryl, & Katie
