Claire Theresa Fielding, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend went peacefully with the angels to Heaven on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Claire was born on December 21, 1931 in New Orleans, La., lived in Baton Rouge for 43 years and then settled in Tomball, Tx in 2017. She was a very loving mother, grandmother (AKA Grandmama), great- grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. Claire loved coffee, chocolate, square dancing and shopping. She also loved to play the slot machines at the Casino Boat. Claire cherished her time as an administrative secretary at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge later starting her own business doing administrative work for several law firms and doctors in the area.
Claire is survived by her five children, the joys of her life, John R Fielding, Jr and wife Kandace, Susan Fielding Hurley and husband William, Claire Lynn Foy, Glenn A Fielding and wife Joyce and Steven F Fielding and wife Valerie. She loved her grandchildren, Seth, Luke and wife Carly, Jodi, Jason and wife Lindsay, Joshua and wife Jessica, Jeremy and wife Cassie, Sam, Aidan, Lily, Ben and Amanda and her great-grandchildren, Case, Cole, Jillian, Victoria and Gage. She was loved by many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Fielding, her parents Arthur and Clara Thiberville, her sisters Anna Mae and Virginia and her brothers A.J. and Pete.
Mass Of Christian Burial be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church,
11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, Tx
. on Friday, June 18, 2021. A Rosary will be offered at 10:15 am followed by mass at 11:00. Claire will be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park, 14711 Cypress N. Houston Rd, Cypress, Tx.
