Christopher Ray Rodriguez, 58, of New Caney, Texas, left this world on Friday, May 29, 2026, surrounded by his cherished family. He is now at peace, free from the illness that took him too soon.
Born with a fierce spirit, Christopher proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm, earning an honorable discharge after his dedicated service. His commitment to his nation was matched only by his passions and interests that filled his life.
A lifelong fascination with Hot Wheels shaped Christopher's childhood and beyond, as he became a devoted member of the Kool Kids Club. His incredible collection of thousands of Hot Wheels stands as a testament to his enthusiasm and love for the hobby. Alongside this passion, Christopher found joy in Heavy Metal music, filling his days with the sounds he loved.
Above all, Christopher treasured the moments spent with his family and friends. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be missed deeply by all who knew him. For many years, he worked as a telecommunications contractor but was forced to retire due to disability. Despite life's challenges, Christopher faced each day with resilience and a steadfast love for those around him.
Christopher is survived by his father, Ramiro V. Rodriguez and his partner of many years Dahlia Hester; mother, Yolanda Carvajal; beloved wife, Kathy R. Rodriguez; and his treasured children, daughter Katy Grant and husband Ross; sons Jordan Rodriguez, Casey Lyons, and Zachary Fuentes. His legacy extends to his brother, Ray Anthony Rodriguez and wife Lucy; sister, Jennifer Bouska and husband Gary; and his cherished grandchildren, Summer Cox, Journey Cox, and Penny Grant.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
