Christopher Conrad Krueger, 35, was born on December 5, 1982 in Houston, Texas and passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 4, 2018.

Chris graduated from St. Thomas High school in 2001 and went on to earn a degree in civil engineering from the University of Houston. He worked in hydraulic engineering for 15 years, first at KBR and then Stantec. He took great pride in being an engineer and, despite his long battle with glioblastoma, worked through September 2018.

Chris loved to work with his hands and spent many hours building models and improving his home. He enjoyed being outdoors - camping, fishing, gardening, and playing sports. A history buff with an incredibly sharp mind, he liked visiting museums and historical sites. He was a man of high caliber - hard working, intelligent, caring, kind and courageous - and he will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife of 11 years Kellie Krueger; children: Elizabeth Krueger and Benjamin Krueger; parents: Donald and Jeri Krueger; and brother: Gregory Krueger; as well as a host of family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm in the CyFair Chapel of Klein Funeral Homes. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:00 am in the CyFair Chapel of Klein Funeral Homes. Christopher will be laid to rest following the service in Klein Memorial Park - CyFair - Northwest.
