Chris Clinkscales, age 55, passed away peacefully July 21, 2019 surrounded by the love of his wife and son.
Chris was born and raised to be a proud Texan and was quite the entrepreneur at an early age. He started his DJ business, Professional Light & Sound, in the early 80's. His business led him to travel extensively and knew the state of Texas like the back of his hand. He was also a DJ at a local WACO radio station where he was known as "Chris Angel in the Morning". Later, Chris and a good friend started and built their own home stereo speaker company named Bowie Audio Corporation. Chris also received his pilot's license while juggling all of his interests.
In 1988, Chris moved to Houston where he began his career in computers, copiers and networking with Kodak where he was able to travel to Saudi Arabia and Rio de Janeiro. He loved immersing himself with the culture of those countries and knowing the people and traditions. Some of Chris' other interests included boating on the lake, cooking and entertaining with family and friends. Chris also had a beautiful voice and loved music.
Chris is preceded in death by his father Ernest "Clinker" Clinkscales. Survivors include his loving wife Suzie, his son Matthew, his mother Frances, and a host of friends. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
