Christine Hart Nicholas went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 12, 2022, at the age of 81.
She was born to Norman and Sheila Hart on October 21, 1940, in St. James, Barbados,
where she spent her childhood and teenage years. She met and married her husband Bruce
Nicholas in 1963. Shortly thereafter, they moved to the U.S. and settled in Maryland. In 1977,
the family moved to Houston, where she has resided for the last 45 years. Bruce and Christine
were avid world travelers, and Christine enjoyed visiting many locations and collecting various
items from across the globe. Christine was retired from sales and was involved in many
neighborhood activities, ranging from neighborhood events to playing mahjong and dominoes
with her many friends. A few of her favorite hobbies were traveling, entertaining, and spending
time with family. She will be fondly remembered as a great hostess and missed most dearly
during the holidays, a time when she truly shined by bringing together family near and far. She
is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, and sister, Annette. She is survived by her two
children, Craig Nicholas and his wife Tracie, and Sharon Campbell and her husband Chris, as
well as her grandchildren Nicole Huyck, Gregory Nicholas, Clayton Nicholas, and Christina
Campbell, and her great grandchildren Audrey, Eleanor, Adeline, and Alice. Her funeral will be
held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10 A.M. at Klein Funeral Home on Champions Forest Drive.
