Christian Louis Lloyd, 46, of Tomball, Texas suddenly and unexpectedly passed away into eternal life on June 2, 2024. He was a beloved husband of over 20 years, proud father, son, brother, friend, and educator. Chris was quick-witted, detailed-oriented, friendly, driven, and explosively fun and entertaining.

Chris was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 5, 1978, to Lynette Lloyd and Patrick M. Lloyd. Chris attended the University of Iowa where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and then did his post-graduate work at Prairie View A&M University where he was awarded his Master of Education. Chris was a hard worker who took his work very seriously. He taught math and coached football in school districts in the northwest Houston area for over twenty years. Most recently, he was an Assistant Principal at McCullough Junior High School.

Chris loved to entertain, tease others, tell stories, and visit. He enjoyed visiting Presidential Libraries, fishing, boating, history, especially WWII, passionately debating politics, celebrating the Fourth of July in Wisconsin, going to the casino and playing corn hole with Julie's family, talk radio, and collecting memorabilia from the Green Bay Packers, the University of Iowa, and his favorite characters from childhood such as Superman and Voltron.

His favorite tradition, as mentioned above, was going to Wisconsin on the 4th of July. From the annual parade at his Aunt Edyie's & Uncle Dave's neighborhood, dressing up as a clown each year for the parade, swimming, hanging out around the fire pit with family, crazy adventures with his cousin Adam or Uncle Mike, watching fireworks and most importantly fishing with Reagan. Chris and Reagan would fish from sunup to sundown & always competing to see who had the biggest catch. We are grateful for these precious core memories that we will cherish for eternity. The 4th will never be the same without you.

His movie quotes, one-liners, and stories, along with his loud and energetic personality, his love for his family, and his ability to reach out to everyone day and night via phone and especially text will be longed for and greatly missed. He was a joy to know; we are richer for knowing him and poorer for his departure. Chris, we will always miss and love you.

Chris is survived by his wife Julie Lloyd, his daughter Reagan Lloyd, his parents: Lynette Lloyd (Mark Tengler) and Patrick M. Lloyd (Joyce Palik), and his father and mother in-law: Pecos and Marilou Black. His aunts and uncles: Edyie and David Walther, Michael and Heidi Lloyd, Debbie Kastern, Esther Leise, and Mary Beth Martin. His brother-in-law: Greg Black and his siblings: Heather (Jim) Zanek, Shannen (Jason) Utley, Aaron (Justina) Lloyd, Luke (Lindsey) Lloyd, half-brother, James (Kayla) Lloyd and stepbrother, David (Theresa) Tengler. His many nieces and nephews: Jackson Black, Reese Black, Josh Zanek, Karri Zanek, Jaden Zanek, Jaxton Zanek, Katie Zanek, Avery Utley, Noah Utley, Brianna Lloyd, Elijah Lloyd, London Lloyd, Liam Lloyd, Leah Lloyd, and Liv Lloyd. His cousins: Paulina (Mike) Erdman, Lori (Nick) Venturella, Adam Walther, Abbey (Kevin) Kaszubowski, Paul Lloyd, Anthony "TJ" Kastern, and Matthew "Jamie" (Bridget) Kastern.

Chris was preceded in death by grandparents: Anthony "Tony" and Dorothy Kastern and Patrick and Pauline Lloyd, his uncles: Anthony "Sandy" Kastern and William "Billy" Kastern, and his stepbrother: Joel Tengler.

A Visitation will be held June 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home – Tomball 1400 West Main Tomball, TX 77375.
