Chris James Huffmeister was born in Houston, TX, on October 21, 1952 and departed this world much too soon on June 7, 2020. He is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Karen Huffmeister, as well as his father and mother, Jerry and Arlene Huffmeister.

Chris was an avid fisherman and devoted golfer. He could almost always be found on a boat or golf course with his friends and family. Chris leaves his family and friends with great memories of fun times and life lessons. He was a caring and loving father to Jeremy Huffmeister and wife Shannon, a full-hearted grandfather to Tyler, Hailey, and Kaden Huffmeister and a wonderful great-grandfather to Aubree. Chris is also survived by his sister, Robin Stelzel and husband Peter; brother, Jody Huffmeister and wife Carrie Lou; brother, Mason Huffmeister and wife Deanna; brother-in-law, Danny Scoville and wife Judy; brother-in-law, Steven Scoville and wife Katherine; brother-in-law, Clayton Scoville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His friends and family were supremely blessed to have had him in their lives. He will be dearly missed.
