Chlee Marlon Burleson was born in Northridge, California on February 22, 1956 to Frankie & Shirley Burleson. Throughout his childhood in Oklahoma, he developed a love for cars, classic rock, and all things football. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and went on to become an accountant for Haliburton for a little over 36 years. Taking pride in his self-reliance, his home and lawn were always maintained by his arsenal of tools. Giving nicknames was his way of showing affection. While his frugality kept him from admitting it, he loved dogs as much as the rest of his family. His job took him and his family all over the country and world where he made friends with everyone he met. Chlee passed away on December 19, 2017. He is survived by his mother in law, Marilyn Forbes DeLuca (Mass.); his loving wife, Robbin Burleson of 34 years, his son Chlee Burleson II, his two daughters, Bethany and (Michael) Harlow, and Jennifer and (Robert) Milligan; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Kim and (Glenna) Burleson (Colo.), and Champ and (Barbara) Burleson (OKC); and his sister, Jamie and (David) Philips; and two brother in laws, Mark and (Renee) Forbes (Kans.), and Edison and (Carolyn) Forbes II (Mass.). Chlee has many nieces and nephews as well as friends who he loved dearly. He was an amazing husband, father, and friend and will be missed by many.
