Cheryl Delane (Harkey) Landeche (79) of Magnolia Texas passed away Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025.  Cheryl was born August 24, 1946, in Trenton, New Jersey to Robert William and Martha Julia (Hartis) Harkey.

Cheryl was a native of Kannapolis, North Carolina and spent much of her youth there and in Houston, Texas where she married Albert Landeche. Throughout her life she was employed in many different roles but most remembered in the many years she spent as a school bus driver where she made some great friends and worked with many children.  Some of her greatest loves in life were children and dogs.  She had four sons of her own and several grandchildren; she had many dogs she loved throughout her life.  She was a wonderful cook, an amazing decorator and a gracious hostess who loved parties, holidays and family gatherings.  She loved the Lord, her faith in the Lord was an important part of her life and she taught that faith to her children.  She was a beloved mother, daughter, wife, sister and grandmother and will be missed and cherished by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Daniel Harkey and sister Sandra Suzanne Collins. She is survived by her four sons Al(Cherri), Ryan, John, and Darryn; her sister Cindy(Ken), her brother Lacy; and eleven grandchildren.
