Cheryl Marie DePue Rees, 76, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away April 22, 2023. Cheryl was born on May 6, 1946, in Washington D.C. to the late Leland Arthur DePue and Marie Robinson DePue.

She is survived by Art and Peggy DePue, brother and sister in law and their children, Julie and Brad Wilson, Sara and Brian Volante, Chris and Kristin DePue, Stan and Lane DePue, and Jeff and Nicole Depue along with 15 grandchildren.

Including her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Carol Lee DePue Wayne and her husband John Wayne. Their children are Adam Wayne, Stephen Wayne, Rachel Wayne Weems, and Marie Rose Wayne.

Cheryl also leaves behind many friends and kind people who helped her through her final hours.

There will be a graveside service for Cheryl on May 9th at 2:00 at Klein Memorial Park at 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas officiated by the Rev. Vallerie F. King.
