Obituary

Charmaine LeFleur Henisey Donley, age 74, left this earth and her loved ones behind on June 30, 2017. She passed away at home in the loving arms of her husband.

Charmaine was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and lived in Vermont for a short time before moving to the Houston, Texas, area where she resided most of her life until marrying her beloved husband, R.G. "Pot" Donley on June 30, 2008.

It was also on June 30 when she had her first date with Pot in 2005. Since they first met, they loved and lived many adventures together including hiking, fishing, skiing, sailing, dancing, and just enjoying their life together. They made their home in Tomball. She was an avid gardener who was happiest to be outdoors planting and playing with the flowers, birds, and butterflies.

Charmaine had a very loving nature about her and dearly loved  children and animals alike. She also enjoyed hosting parties and gatherings of family and friends, and just taking care of people. She abounded with energy and never sat still.

She spent her adult life caring for many children as a nanny/home manager for families. She enjoyed it so much, she spent 18 years with the same family and never missed a day of work. She was a very patient, kind, and caring nanny who loved all the children and families she cared for as if they were her own.

Before marrying Pot, Charmaine had three children of her own whom she loved dearly; sons, James Henisey and Brad Henisey, and a daughter, Lori Dorsett. She was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Colby, Blass, Cheyenne, and Jay. She is survived  to be remembered by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, and many friends and other loved ones.

Charmaine will be dearly missed for her loving nature, caring heart, generous spirit, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 5:30 p.m.
