Charlie "Dean" Critendon of Cypress, Texas died unexpectedly on October 12, 2016 at the age of 56.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Tina Critendon; his 3 children, Cameron Critendon, Blake Critendon and Mackenzie Critendon ; his mother, Samantha Weaver; his sisters, Mary "Cathryn" Waggoner and husband Steve, Missy Baranowski and husband Sam; his mother and father in law, Larry and Patricia Savitsky ; his step-father Jean "JD" Davis and his wife Cathy;, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; "Morris "Crit" Critendon.

Dean truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures by spending time with his family, along with hunting, boating, fishing and attending his children's sporting events. His infectious personality touched the lives of many throughout the community. He showed his love through small acts of kindness by coaching, volunteering and opening his home to friends and family by hosting post game celebrations and annual crawfish boils.

Dean's love for Tina and his children was undeniable, but closely followed by his passion to live life to the fullest. His spirit will carry on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.

The Memorial Service will be held on Monday October 17, 2016 @ 2:00 at Klein Funeral Home located at 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas 77065. In honor of Dean's joy for life and love of the outdoors the family has requested the attire to be causal. Wear your favorite Hawaiian/Fishing Shirt, shorts and comfortable shoes.
