Obituary

Charles E. Stegent

Charles was born September 1, 1945 in Brenham, TX. He was the yo ungest of 2 boys. After several years of living the farm life in Brenham, Charles, Raymond and their parents decided to move to Houston to try and make a better life for their family. That they did! Charles met his wife, Rose Marie at a very young age, and the two have been together ever since. Once married, Charles was drafted to Vietnam. Rose moved with him and there they lived for several years while Charles served as an MP in the United Stated Army. Once Charles had served his time in the Army, he and Rose moved back to the states where they found the house they continue to reside to this day. Their daughter Kim was born and shortly thereafter, their son Charlie was born as well. Charles was not a man of many words, but a man of action. He made it his mission to make sure that those around him that he cared about were safe and taken care of, always. His children were his pride and joy.. That is, until his grand children were born. His ultimate pride and joy were them. For as long as he could, Charles went to every game, every play, birthday and milestone possible. He made sure that "Baby" Charlie remembered the stories and lessons to pass on to his grandchildren were told. Charles made sure that no matter what, his children knew that their children came first! What was his legacy? FAMILY. STRENGTH. LAUGHTER AND LOVE. Those four words sum it up.

He is survived by his brother Raymond and his wife Norma. Charles' wife Rose Marie. Their daughter Kimberly her husband Mike and their two boys, Jonatan and Seth. His son Charlie, wife Jennifer and their three children Kaden, Karlie and Kaine. We must acknowledge the close friends here as well.
