Charles Rosemond
December 30, 1937 - September 4, 2025

Surrounded by his loving family, Charles (Chuck) Rosemond made a joyful entrance into Heaven on the evening of September 4th.

Born to parents Emma and Charles Rosemond in El Paso, Texas. Chuck was the oldest son followed by his sister Leonor and baby brother Richard.

Chuck was a gifted athlete and excelled in track & field which earned him a scholarship to the University of Texas in Austin. Following college, he entered the world of retail and quickly soared to success leading Oshman's Sporting Goods in Houston as executive vice president of operations for 20 years. After retail, Chuck became a custom home builder and serviced clients in Houston and surrounding areas for over 10 years.

Although his life was filled with world travel, teaching his weekly bible study and a constant curiosity for knowledge, nothing gave Chuck more joy than quality time with his 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Being called "Poppy" was truly his greatest title and when his grandchildren were younger, you would find Chuck in Texas and Georgia launching homemade rockets, spending sunny days in the pool, exploring the woods, giving the best airplane rides, master fort maker, hours at a driving range or pawn shop, cheering on his cheerleaders or absolutely anything else one of them wanted to do. Even as they grew older and could certainly google anything, Chuck's grandchildren would often call with a question because you bet Poppy would always know the answer. His greatest lessons shared with his family centered around his relationship with Jesus from the teachings of the bible he so rigorously studied. His legacy shines thru the hearts of his children and grandchildren.

In addition to them, Chuck will be missed by his adoring wife of 47 years Pam, his children Diana Rosemond, Chuck and wife Lisa Rosemond, Christine and husband Gary Pell, Scott and wife Susan Rosemond and Payton and her husband Dan Davenport. Chuck's beloved sister Leonor and her husband Warren Marquard also survive him.

A celebration of Chuck's life with be held Friday, October 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Rise Church, 22932 Kuykendahl Rd. in Spring Texas
