- Charles Woodrow Mitchell, 79, born July 13, 1937 in Attapulgus, Georgia, passed away on August 5, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Ann Mitchell; two brothers, Virgil Mitchell and wife Sally of Florence, South Carolina and James Mitchell of Leesburg, Florida; sons Marty Mitchell and wife Cynthia; Bobby Mitchell and wife Gloria; Robert Mitchell and wife Debra; Steve Mitchell and wife Lisa and daughter Cindy Stanton and husband Brian, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main St. (FM 2920), Tomball, TX. Funeral Service will be at the Spring Baptist Church-Klein Campus, 21825 Bridgestone Lane, Spring, TX, at 10:30am on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Burial will follow at the Barbers Cemetery in Mont Belvieu, TX, Loop 207 across from Hill Lumber, 1118 Main St., Mont Belvieu, TX 77580). In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in memory of Charles Mitchell. Donations can be made at www.gifts.mdanderson.org. ?
