Obituary

Charles (Charlie) Ray Hall

Charles went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Alrene Rice Hall, and his 2 children, Wayne (Pamela) Hall of Tomball and Debbie (Randy) Majors of Park City, Utah.

Charles, 81, was a 42 year oil and gas executive and a proud resident of Tomball, Texas. He worked 18 years for Shell Oil Company in both New Orleans and Houston.

Upon leaving Shell, he joined Houston Oil & Minerals, a start up oil & gas company.

Houston Oil & Minerals was acquired by Tenneco Oil and then he completed his career at Marathon Oil where he retired at age 63.

He was acting President of Harris County Emergency Services, District 15, as well as the President of the Spring Creek Historical Society, better known as the Tomball Museum. Charles and Alrene enjoyed being Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for the Tomball Museum Christmas event each year.

Charles and Alrene were very proud of their 6 grandchildren – Jason (Nicki) Hall of Tampa, FL; Cameron (Aubrey) Hall of Cypress; Seaver (Paige) Hall of Spring; Kyla Hall of Tomball; Draegen Majors of Dallas; and Karsten (Taylor) Majors of Tulsa, OK – and one new great-grandson – Dawson.

Charles was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and follower of Jesus Christ. He attended Champion Forest Baptist Church for over 40 years and has been a great friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Charles Hall with a donation to the Tomball Museum.
