Charles Lee Ford "Chuck", age 78, was born to Albert and Gladys Ford. He was the 4th born of 8 children, having 6 brothers and 1 sister. Chuck grew up in Northern California. It is there he met his beautiful wife, Carol, when they were only 17 and 15. Chuck and Carol were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters.
Chuck worked in the plumbers and steamfitters union, and even owned his own company. He worked hard and endlessly to provide for his wife and family. Chuck was devoted to his family, and he adored his 4 grandchildren. After retiring, Chuck and his wife loved traveling in their RV until they settled in Texas after falling in love with the state. In his spare time, Chuck loved to golf, bowl, watch and go to car races, play pool, spend time with family, spoil and love on his dog, Daisy, eat good food and drink beer by his pool. Chuck was a special man and touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a special bond with each one of his family members. Chuck had an extremely special bond with his best friend and wife of 60 years. They loved to hold hands and be in each others arms.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladys Ford, and by his 5 brothers: Glen, Bud, Alfred, Virgil, and Bob.
Chuck is survived by his 3 daughters and their families; daughter Cathy, her husband Heinz and her children Keith, Justin, and Justin's significant other, Jamie; daughter Robin and her husband Robert; daughter Charlotte, her husband Mike and their children Scott, Kaitlin and her fiance, Erik. He is also survived by his brother, Floyd and his sister, Emma.
Chuck's family viewed him as their patriarch, their protector and their superhero. They will forever cherish and treasure their memories with him.'
