Charles Robert Briggs III, Born December 25, 1942, in Houston, Texas. Went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 6, 2023                              Age 80 Years.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Robert Briggs II and Marzelle Hoffman Briggs and his brother, William Frederick Briggs I.

After several years, he retired from the United States Postal Service stationed at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Charles served in the Air Force, Texas Air National Guard and the United States Air Force Reserve. He served from 1966-2002 for a total of 36 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. He specialized and became an expert in communications. He served on active duty in the Vietnam War, then went on to serve in the 147th Texas Air National Guard. Finally, he completed his service at the 37th Communications Squadron Air Force Reserve out of Lackland Air Force Base.
