Obituary

Charles Edward Bracksieck, age 90, passed away on Friday, July 8 th , 2022.  He was born on January 16 th , 1932, in Louisville, Kentucky.  Charles was married to Mary Martha Bracksieck for almost 65 years; they married on September 3 rd , 1955.  He was a successful businessman and business owner in the Elevator Industry for 50 years.  He enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and rare treasures and restoring wood antiques to their original beauty.  He was funny, loved to do puzzles, dominated playing cards, enjoyed fishing and was a pajama fashionista.  On any beautiful day he would orchestrate a cookout at the park for the family.  Charlie had a large circle of friends and was loved by all.

He is survived by his children:  David Charles Bracksieck and his wife Barbara; Richard Douglas Bracksieck; Karen Elizabeth Rogerson and her husband Mark; Christopher Ray Bracksieck and his wife Caroline.  Along with 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.  All of whom he loved and touched deeply.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
