Charles Leevon Boone, 87, of Magnolia, passed away January 22, 2021.  He was born January 27, 1933, in Houston to the late Albert Boone and Maude Bishop Boone.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Boone; son, Eric Boone and wife Wilma; grandson, Christopher Boone and wife Alma; granddaughter, Emily Jacobs and husband Ryan; and great grandchildren, Jett Jacobs, Ellie Jacobs, and Camila Boone.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Stephen Boone.

Charles joined Houston Police Department on January 1, 1957, Academy Class #15.  During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic and Accident, Records, Central, Training, Narcotics, Community Services, Property, and Juvenile Divisions.  Sergeant Boone retired on September 29, 2004.
