In Loving Memory of Charles Adron Lee

November 30, 1960 - September 1, 2023

It is with inexpressible sadness that we announce the passing of Chuck, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, who went to his long awaited home with his Lord on September 1, 2023.

Born on November 30, 1960, Chuck's charm is etched into the hearts and minds of all of those who the Lord put in his path. His wisdom, his smile, his voice - used for making others laugh with jokes, or cry with the songs - will never be forgotten. Now his voice joins a new choir echoing "Oh, Happy Day!".

As a dedicated father, Chuck leaves behind two children, Lyndsey and Nick, whom he loved without limits. He devoted his life to showing them the love of Jesus and teaching them how to share that with others in everything they do. He was ever selfless, and his character will continue to shine through them.

Chuck, "Granddaddy",  was a fiercely present grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren, Micah, Abby, and Emmy. He loved getting them Chik'Fil'A, playing games, reading books, or going to see them play Baseball, Softball, Gymnastics… or really anything at all - If his grandkids were there, so was grandaddy - He was always there. The love and peace he gave them will be sweetly remembered for the rest of their lives.

Chuck, or "Chuckles," worked relentlessly at his job as a Funeral Director for 20 years at Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial Parks. He loved those he worked with deeply, so much so that he saw them as nothing less than family. He was gifted in connecting with people, making them feel comforted. Making them feel loved. To him it wasn't just his job, it was his ministry.

Janet, his beloved wife of 40 years, was always there for him. Chuck loved her truly, through great times and rough times, he never wavered in being the man that the Lord called him to be for her. Always there. Always providing. Always. Chuck and Janet's love and devotion to each other lives on as an inspiration to us all.

Chuck's contagious laugh, guidance, and warmth will be profoundly missed by all. Although he is no longer here with those he touched, he is now and forever in his new home where it is not as hot and humid, there is no more pain or struggles, and there is only joy in the presence of the King. Every morning Chuck can now sing… "O, What a beautiful morning!"... as he did so often on mission trips, youth camps, and likely when no one else was around to hear it. But now for him it is more true than he ever could have dreamed while on this earth.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter Lyndsey and her husband John along with their daughter Emilyn Smart; son Nickolas and his wife Nicole along their children Micah and Abigail Lee; father, Howard Lee; sister, Susan and her husband Jeff Thompson; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Friends are invited to visit with the family between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, September 8, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, at First Baptist Church Tomball, 401 Oxford Street, Tomball, TX 77375. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park on FM 2920 in Tomball.
