Celia Villanueva, born on May 31, 1961, in Houston, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose heart and home were always open to family, friends, and anyone who needed a warm welcome.
Celia's greatest joy in life was her family. But she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren—Nick, her beloved "Niko," Lily, her "Lilybear," and the newest member to come, baby Sienna, her "CiCi." She expressed her love through cooking, filling every gathering with delicious food and laughter. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, and her love extended far beyond family, as she embraced everyone who came through her door.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gil; her mother, Anita; and her cherished daughters, Laura, Naomi, Crystal, and Jennifer. She also leaves behind her grandson Nick, granddaughter Lily, soon-to-be granddaughter Sienna, her son-in-law Rocky, and her loyal grand-dogs, King and Ben. She is also survived by 9 brothers and sisters, Stella, Alice, Sally Ann, Rose Mary, David, Simon, Angel, Domingo and Mario.
Celia's legacy is one of unconditional love, kindness, and a sense of home that she created for all. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by those fortunate enough to know her.
